Airport Transfers From Alicante & Murcia To Our Apartment in Guardamar

When you have holidays in Guardamar del Segura there is a choice of two major airports to fly into, Alicante airport or Murcia (San Javier) airport. Alicante airport is the closest airport to the Sunrise Apartment and is the most common airport to fly into for holidays in the Costa Blanca.

Alicante airport is north of the Sunrise Apartment in Guardamar del Segura and is only 32 kilometres away most of the major flight companies fly into Alicante airport. Murcia airport (San Javier) is south of our Guardamar apartment and is around 58 kilometres from your holiday destination in Spain.

Taxis are easy to find at the airport but you may prefer not to have to organise a taxi yourself when you arrive for your holiday in Guardamar. Whether you are flying to Alicante airport or Murcia Airport we can arrange airport transfers for you if you would prefer to keep it simple at the start of your holiday in Spain.

If you would like us to arrange the transfers on your behalf then you then you will need to let us know your flight times and which airport you are flying into as soon as possible. Please get in touch with us to confirm the cost of transfers but these are usually €35 from Alicante airport and €45 from Murcia airport, the price is each way per vehicle, not person. You will be required to pay the fee for the airport transfers directly to the driver in Spain so please ensure that you take sufficient Euros with you to do this.

There is no shortage of flight operators who offer flights to this region of the Costa Blanca in Spain but which airport you fly into will often be determined by which company you fly with. Companies such as Monarch Scheduled, British Airways, Thompson, Thomas Cook, EasyJet or RyanAir to mention a few all fly here. The advantage of being collected is that you can relax whilst being transported to your holiday accommodation in Guardamar. You will be met at the apartment by our representatives who will help you with your luggage and explain the facilities of our Guardamar apartment. Your keys for the apartment will also be handed over to you at this time.

Hiring A Car From Alicante Or Murcia Airport To Drive To The Sunrise Apartment

Depending upon your confidence with driving in Spain and the length of time you plan to stay in our self catering apartment in Guardamar, you may find that hiring a car and driving yourself is the best way to get from the airport to the Sunrise Apartment.

You will have access to a private parking space when you holiday in Guardamar at the Sunrise Apartment and having a car for the duration of your stay can be a great way of exploring the surrounding area of the Costa Blanca if you would prefer not to use public transport or do not want to be tied to any schedules.

You can hire a car directly from Alicante airport or Murcia airport but you are best to search for car hire onlineand book in advance take a look at the finding cheap car hire information page for more details and links to some of the cheap car hire companies that we have found.

You will be given directions to the Sunrise Apartment shortly before you are due to start your holidays in Guardamar del Segura along with contact details for our representatives in Spain so that you can inform them of your arrival at the airport. They will arrange to meet you at the apartment in Guardamar, help you with your suitcases, show you around the apartment and hand you the keys.
